It connect to AC power, it's not necessary to be installed beside the motorised roller blind, it can be installed anywhere just within the range of the RF signal it can reach ( normally is within 35m ), Because you can simply add up to 20 preset another remote's codes to this emitter, so you can control up to 20 roller blinds up or down together in the same time, not individually, but if you control the different roller blinds individually, then you have to purchase the kits separately.
For setting and connection for them, you need to set the switch control mode setting of DC114M to Double Bond Interlock Switch Control Mode, meanwhile you need to set the switch type of Qubino Flush Shutter AC Module to toggle switches type too, and you should connect the output of Q1 and Q2 from the Qubino Flush Shutter AC Module to the input of the " Up " and "Down" from the DC114M and connect the "Com" port to live line of the AC power cable.
You can control any built-in RF receiver motorised curtains and motorised roller blinds though this kit via z-wave controller, to Open ( Up ), Close ( Down ) and Stop without the problem, but you can not do percentage of control them and it will not show you the exact moving position right now due to the motor is not be controlled by the z-wave module directly. For the same reason, the Z-wave controller can not get the power and energy consumption from such Z-wave Home Automation solution.
